Another one?

Yep, DIY projects are still in full force in our household even with the baby bump :) but it won’t be fair to say that I helped a lot this time... at least not in the manual labor part because of the obvious reason of course! hahaha.

We both have different projects working on at the same time, so here they are…

Hubby’s project… the Patio Dining table.  Yep, from scratch… built it… sand it… stained it… and waterproofed it… all him! He’s my handy man :).

Now, my project… Landscaping the Patio that we haven’t revisited since we built it 2yrs ago :).  The ideas are mine :)… I helped a bit to execute… and ta-da!

One week off!

I had a week long adventure with an old friend of mine who graced us a visit.  Shelagh and I have known each other since our innocent days :)  we’ve attended primary together and YW, then both our families moved out to different cities then lost touch for a bit… and found our way to keep in touch again and boy was that a blast!

This is her first time in NY and may take some time again to have a repeat and so this may look like we tried to fit everything we could possibly do in one week! :)

First stop… Albany of course :)

Lake George

Boston

Palmyra

And last but not least… overnight night stay in NY City! :)

Yay!

We found out today that… a sweet little angel dressed in pink bow is coming home with us this October… we are having a girl!!! :D

The voice

We went to a concert last night at the Troy Saving Bank Music Hall to see Ms Lea Salonga.  It was awesome! Her voice is soo good.  This is actually the first time we’ve heard her sing live and in person (we got a pretty good seat too… second row!) and she did not disappoint.  She really brought down the house… very witty and entertaining.  The $55 dollars is well worth it, I think :).   She definitely had the voice.

And looks like our baby in my tummy likes it too… because I felt my baby moving a few times during the concert, or it could be that it’s noisy too haha.

From last night... two of my favorites.

We even got a signed CD and a photo with her… sweet! :)

14 and counting

Can’t believe it’s been fourteen years since I step foot in to the land of milk and honey.  It’s been truly a blessing indeed not just for me but also for my family to be given such an opportunity.  Together with my three other friends who came here with me that day and have been together since – although not every day but we always know that we will be there for each other and will stay friends for life and even after – we met and celebrated this day with a bang! No not really hehehe… but a fun filled Saturday lunch and afternoon activities! :)

We started as four and now we’ve multiplied in to each of our own individual families :)  It’s always a joy to be around them and to see how much we’ve grown since not only in numbers but in sizes as well hahaha!  Kidding aside… they know what I mean :)

We still don’t have a decent camera :( so I stole pictures from them taken during our big lunch at Cracker Barrel, and then went bowling, and then we stopped by for a yogurt ice cream before parting ways to head home.

Here are some few stolen pictures… :)

In hiatus… for a good reason :)

In hiatus for a couple of months from here but for a very good reason… I’m with child!!! We always knew that this day is going to come for us… and we are loving every minute of it, symptoms and all! :)

the happy parents to be :)
